Brian Armstrong, CEO of the cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase, said that he remains optimistic about Bitcoin over the long term. In his view, the asset has already become "digital gold," and by the end of the decade its value will be substantially higher than the current one.
According to Armstrong, Bitcoin is gradually becoming an important component of the global economy.
"I believe that Bitcoin is the new digital gold. I think that in the future it will become an important part of our economy. That is why I remain as optimistic as ever," he noted.
He also drew attention to the cyclical nature of the market, noting that no one can pinpoint the exact moment of a reversal.
Armstrong believes that Bitcoin has likely already formed a local bottom near the $60,000 mark, although it is impossible to confirm this with certainty right now.
At the same time, the Coinbase CEO emphasized that he does not plan to change his investment strategy. According to him, he continues to count on a substantial rise in Bitcoin's value by 2030 and continues to hold Bitcoin with a long-term investment horizon.

As a reminder, in September 2025 the Coinbase CEO named three arguments in favor of Bitcoin rising to $1 million by 2030.
